As the lack of updates shows, it doesn't work so well if it's just me and Sonya maintaining this page. Hence let's try out something more interactive: we've set up http://maierpalooza.groups.live.com. This comes with a little work to join: you'll need a "Live ID" (which the sign-in process there explains how to get - no worries, it's free), when you're signed in you'll need to ask to join the group (which will result in a email in our inboxes which we'll have to react to). But then, we'll have a site where everybody can upload pictures to, as well as a discussion board and a shared calendar that might help to organize things like the family reunion.
